Mashallah, this masjid has a great Imam and Mufti who are both ever so generous with the community. As well as others who are kind with the people around them. But recently I heard of the board members having a problem with the youth and how they play too much and such. I've been to other mosque's and Mashallah they have courts larger than the whole entire masjid with an extraordinary large amount of youth and community that make use it. Of course they have great activities that I had volunteered for and the youth would willingly pray after they were encouraged to do so. As they personally enjoy the people around them and how they are treated. And a few days earlier I heard that this masjid had to forcefully make kids go into a room with "security" watching over them as if trying to escape. Already it gives off a bad vibe as it shows the youth aren't liking how the situation is being handled. I believe it should be for the best that the youth and parents choose how to spend their ramadan however. After all what was the point of investing a court if all the board members dis encourage it. Once I had passed by the court to see trash around the entire court, and it appears that its not being treated as well, but it could try to imply that the youth itself arent getting the proper kindness from the adults that would lead to this. And one opinion is that to make use of the expansion on the left side, as I heard they were classrooms for ramadan. It would be nice to make use of them during ramadan for recreational use with light supervision and go from there. And encourage the youth in a positive way to pray. After all its the youth who are going to eventually occupation the entire masjid later on in life with others, so treat them how you want to be treated.

    Jsk, for your time
    Ali.

I moved to this area a few months ago with my Parents. Since this masjid was small unlike my former masjid I was hoping it would be comfortable. But instead it was extremely frustrating and became increasingly annoying how the masjid kept trying to force the youth into activities. I pray 8 rakat Taraweh everyday in Ramadan so I don't need to go to some dumb youth halqa. There is also an adult named shakeel who Try's to scare all the youth. Every one hates him there but because he is an adult we can't do anything.if they got Rid of him it would be much better. The only reason this gets one star is because the kids there are cool but some of the adults are iratating.

Masjid is great imam area azar but certain people ruin it the masjid use to run smoothly and everybody used to love coming kids don't like certain adults because there to demanding mainly shakile mehdi he usually forces kids to do the dirty work he doesn't do he doesn't pray if so hes late he doesn't do anything him and his little friends saying to kids to go to a halaqa and pushing and grabbing people to go to a optional halaqa are two different things he believes he sets a good example for us but money and personality are two different things he doesnt know how to motivate he's only been here for 2 years and became a big figure by making a youth group to get power mainly of his friends are the people who smoke cigarettes near the youth he sets a bad example and parents fell to see the side of only positives and not negatives if the youth don't rebel then they win he's a bad figure to look up too masjid would be a 4-5 star if it wasn't for him the masjid doesn't feel how it use to 5 years ago when it was at it's prime.
